ConSenso project

PNAT is the scientific partner of the ConSenso project, a scientific initiative launched in the Mbeya region of Tanzania, in collaboration with Accademia del Caffè Espresso and CISCO. With PNAT’s scientific and technological support, the project aims to raise awareness of the coffee supply chain by combining advanced technologies with sustainable agricultural practices at the Utengule plantation.

Innovative sensors

PNAT has developed innovative sensors that monitor coffee plants by measuring their electrical properties, providing detailed insights into their health. This advanced technology allows continuous, accurate data collection, essential for managing the plantation more effectively and sustainably.

Monitoring system

As part of the monitoring system, PNAT is also developing an interactive dashboard that will display real-time environmental parameters and plant health data. This tool will enhance production by highlighting the environmental benefits of responsible agronomic management, boosted by technology.
