The Fabbrica dell’Aria, installed at Jins’ offices in Tokyo, is a site-specific work that combines art, nature, and technology to improve air quality in indoor spaces. It utilizes the power of plants to reduce pollutants and purify the environment. Specifically, the plants used absorb toxins and improve air quality, supported by a ventilation and environmental monitoring system.
This initiative is not only aesthetic or environmental but also focuses on enhancing the physical and mental well-being of people working in these spaces. Studies show that the presence of plants and purified air improves concentration, mood, and productivity. The work in Tokyo represents one of the many applications of Pnat in the field of ecological innovation, highlighting the importance of merging science and design to enhance urban life and develop tailored environmental solutions.
