An application of the Fabbrica dell’Aria at the “Andrea Mantegna” Technical Institute in Mantua. Recently, the institute renovated some spaces with sustainable and modern facilities, a project curated by the architecture firm Corvino + Multari, integrating the Fabbrica dell’Aria, an innovative plant-based system designed to purify the air and enhance well-being in learning and working environments. The Fabbrica dell’Aria unit has been installed in the main atrium, welcoming students and visitors while serving as a central and striking feature of the entrance. The plants, which are the focal point of the installation, create a natural and elegant atmosphere, making school spaces more pleasant and healthier.

The biophilic design of the Fabbrica dell’Aria incorporates natural elements into indoor environments, leveraging light, vegetation, and air quality to positively influence the body and mind. In a school setting, this approach promotes focus, creativity, and stress reduction, providing students and staff with an environment that supports both physical and mental well-being. The installation demonstrates how a connection with nature can make education more stimulating, healthy, and engaging.
